Last fall, I sat down with my close friend and my brother to begin a dialog about fine water: the category of pristine, natural drinking water with its own unique terroir. We began scheming and dreaming about how to introduce fine water to everyday consumers. We wanted to build a place where the community could gather, to sample and buy water from unique bottlers, and learn more about where our water comes from. And in turn, we would donate a portion of proceeds to communities in need of pure drinking water.
When the pandemic hit in March, we mourned the loss of this dream. As we retreated to shelter in place, opening a retail space no longer made sense. But what became even more apparent were our big-picture goals: supporting small companies like our water partners, and helping communities in need.
One year later, we are proud to launch Soho Waterworks. Our mission is to promote and distribute pure, natural water, while working toward providing Clean Water For All™. At launch, we represent naturally sustainable water from as far as rural Alaska, small-town Germany, and the Manitoba province, and we’re exploring relationships with a handful of local charities to partner with for the long term. We are so grateful to have your support on this journey, and look forward to sharing what we learn along the way.
Cheers,
